Emmanuel Kulu

KULU (Emmanuel Kulu) the Founder/CEO and heartbeat of Tephlon Ent. Kulu's rap career started in 2001 at McKinley High school with a group known as the Villianz. The Villianz released 2 group albums titled "The Massacre" and "Murder & Mayham" then Kulu's 1st solo project "The Life as a Villian" produced by himself and Dan the Underdog. Kulu formed the C.O.V click (Cole Playaz, Oddyssey, Villianz) and mastered the "Buffalo Soldiers" Compilation. Kulu would go on to create Tephlon Ent. in 2005 where he created his new rap style "G.bossy". The G.Bossy style was a versatile and original sound, unlike anyone in the entire Rap game to date.

Kulu is well known for his hyper and dynamic energy and performance ability. Kulu released "The Beginning of the End" (Compilation), "The Age of Onslaught" (Solo), "Grind Season" (Compilation), "Survival of the Realist" (Solo), and "The Tephlon Don LP" (Solo). Kulu was nominated for 2 awards, (1) Best Hip-Hop Group (Villianz) in 2004, at the Buffalo Music Awards, and (2) Best Hip-Hop Artist award in 2010, at the Unsigned Hype Music Awards. Kulu is currently Co-CEO of Plug Life Clothing and is the CEO/Founder of Black Art Visions, making debut the 1st ever Upstate New York hip-hop film "The Rize and Fall of Tephlon Ent". Kulu has featured on "Sway in the Morning", and many other hip-hop sites. Currently, Kulu is set to release "Blood Reign" Mixtape 5/29/17 and "O How the Mighty Hath Fallen" LP 7/30/17 dedicated to his slain nephew Denell Baker.


Mr. Uno

Mr. Uno (Brad Smith) was Tephlon Ent's 1st signed artist in 2006. Mr. Uno broke his 1st record on the mixtape "The Beginning of the End" the song was title "buss it or not". Mr. Uno has a unique style with his original sound and against the grain song writing abilities. Uno is known for his great performance skills and diverse sound and solid major contributor to Tephlon Ent's Rise. Mr. Uno is currently the Co-CEO of Black Art Visions.


J. hooks

J.Hooks Joined Tephlon Ent. in 2006. The R&B sensation singing style is compared to K-Ci from the Legendary Group the Jodeci. J.Hooks was the Voice of the Mixtape "Grind Season" As he featured on 8 songs and wrote 6 out of the 8, including Hit Singles "We Hustle" & "I'll take you back". J.Hooks is motivated by the murder of his best friend and being shot several times, Hooks' voice brings Joy and Pain back to R&B.
